 Ashlee Stigers is a Registered Nurse and Legal Nurse Consultant with over 22 years of clinical nursing experience, bringing a rare combination of frontline care, executive leadership, and regulatory expertise to medical–legal case review.

Ashlee has served as a Director of Nursing across the full continuum of care—including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Long-Term Care—and has successfully led facilities through deficiency-free state and federal surveys. This hands-on leadership experience allows her to quickly identify what should have happened, what actually happened, and where documentation, systems, or clinical judgment broke down.

With a strong background in injury assessment, wound care certification, and complex medical condition analysis, Ashlee is particularly skilled at evaluating cases involving pressure injuries, wound deterioration, infection, falls, and failure to monitor or intervene. She understands how injuries evolve clinically—and how they are defended on paper.
